Nikki is very warmhearted and she took care of my two cats when I was having a long trip, she sent photos and videos every time when she visited, and built relationships with my cats, I can tell my cats like her very much. Nikki also cleaned my house even though I didn’t ask her, I was touched and will definitely book her again in the future.

When caring for pets in my home or in a client's home, I adapt my approach to the specific service being provided. Here are some general guidelines for the different services: For pet sitting in my home: My home has a large fenced backyard and clean living room space that provides a clean, safe and comfortable environment for pets. I will ensure that each pet has a designated space to sleep and relax. I also follow the feeding schedule and dietary requirements provided by the pet owner. I can provide plenty of companionable play and exercise time. Sitting for pets in client's homes: I respect the client's home and follow their house rules. I maintain the pet's daily routine, including feeding, exercising and medication (if needed). I provide companionship and playtime to ensure pets feel comfortable and safe in my presence. I communicate regularly with pet owners, sending updates and photos to keep them informed. Dog walking: I walk the dog according to the owner's preferred route and schedule. I ensure that dogs are properly leashed and equipped with the necessary identification tags. I keep a close eye on the dog's behavior to avoid potential danger or conflict with other animals. I provide positive reinforcement and praise to ensure an enjoyable walking experience, while also cleaning up any trash left behind. Drop-in visits: I arrive on time at scheduled times and follow my owner's instructions. I provide food, water and medication as needed. I participate in playtime and/or exercise to keep the pet active and stimulated. Regardless of the service, I prioritize open communication with pet owners and always strive to exceed their expectations and provide the best possible care for their cherished companion.

Information Qianxiao H. would like to know about your pet

Gathering essential information about a dog before providing care ensures a safe and comfortable experience for both the pet and the caretaker. Here are some crucial details to know ahead of time: Basic information: The dog's name, age, breed, weight, and any identifying features or markings. Medical history: Any pre-existing health conditions, allergies, or recent surgeries/injuries that may require special attention or medication. Veterinarian contact: The name, address, and phone number of the dog's regular veterinarian, and any relevant medical records. Emergency contact: The pet owner's contact information and an alternate emergency contact, in case the owner is unreachable. Feeding schedule and diet: The dog's daily feeding routine, portion sizes, and any dietary restrictions or preferences. Exercise requirements: The dog's preferred exercise routine, including the frequency and duration of walks, as well as any favorite games or activities. Behavioral traits: Any known behavioral issues or quirks, such as separation anxiety, aggression towards other animals, or excessive barking. Training and commands: The dog's level of training and any specific commands they respond to, along with their preferred method of positive reinforcement (e.g., treats, praise, or toys). Socialization: The dog's comfort level around other animals and people, including any known triggers or situations to avoid. Routine and habits: The dog's daily routine, sleeping preferences, and any specific habits the owner wants to be maintained or addressed during the dog's stay. Grooming needs: Any regular grooming tasks that should be performed, such as brushing, nail trimming, or cleaning ears and teeth. Collecting this information in advance helps to ensure a smooth transition for the dog and allows the caretaker to provide the best possible care tailored to the dog's individual needs and preferences.

A typical day

When watching dogs, I plan various fun activities to keep them engaged and entertained. Some of these activities include: Fetch: A classic game that most dogs love, where I throw a ball, frisbee, or toy and the dog retrieves it, providing physical exercise and mental stimulation. Tug-of-War: Using a durable rope or toy, I engage in a gentle tug-of-war game that helps to burn off energy and build a bond with the dog. Hide and Seek: I hide treats or toys around the house or yard, encouraging the dog to use their sense of smell to find them, promoting mental and physical exercise. As for walks, I enjoy exploring different locations depending on the dog's preferences, energy level, and the owner's recommendations. Some of my favorite walking spots include: Local parks: These offer a change of scenery and an opportunity for the dog to socialize with other pets while enjoying the fresh air and greenery. Nature trails: Walking on nature trails provides a more serene environment, allowing the dog to explore new scents and sights while getting some exercise. Dog-friendly beaches: If the owner permits and a dog-friendly beach is nearby, I love taking dogs for a walk along the shoreline, providing them with a unique and stimulating experience. Dog parks: Visiting designated dog parks offers a safe, enclosed space for dogs to run off-leash, socialize with other canines, and burn off energy. When planning walks and activities, I always take into account the dog's temperament, physical abilities, and the owner's preferences to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and enriching experience for the dog
