Dogs make the world go 'round!

Pet care experience

Recent graduate and advocate for all animals! Grew up and cared for my four-legged best friend, a Japanese Akita, for 13 years. Dogs are the highlight of my day, big or little, fat or skinny, LOVE THEM ALL!(: Babysat dogs and cats of friends and family on several occasional. Lots of patience as well as energy to play with them. Caring for animals is second-hand nature for me so helping out dog parents while they're busy is just one of the ways I'm trying to give back. I have no problem commuting to other boroughs. Just fill me in a bit on your fur-baby's personality, likes and dislikes and I'll make sure they enjoy their time with me! My availability is very flexible during the week: Monday-Wednesday 8am-10pm, Thursday: 8am-3pm, Friday: 3pm-9pm.

Qayla is an absolute lover of animals! Her 'best buddy' growing up was an Akita. They were practically inseparable and became each other's protector. She really hates abuse of any animals and would be very protective of anyone's pets she's in charge of. I think she would be an excellent dog walker!

I've known Qayla for almost 7 years now, and she has always had pets! I met her in a professional setting and she is very respectful, honest and reliable. We became close friends shortly after we met, and she has always been dedicated to the important things in her life (school, work, family etc). If you are looking for a trustworthy individual to care for your dog or dogs, look no further! With Qayla's life-long experience with animals, she will never disappoint you or your beloved family members.

I have known Qayla for upwards of five years. For over half of our friendship, I was lucky enough to witness Qayla's bond with her beloved dog, Kilo. I had never witnessed anything quite like the partnership between owner and animal. Qayla treated Kilo like her son, face timing him when she was away, and devoting all her time to him when at home. Qayla has always had a passion for animals that has shined through. That is best demonstrated through her adoption of her first cat, Shakra. When Qayla doubted she could have another pet after the passing of Kilo, that same connection she so easily forges with animals, came about again in the form of an overweight kitty, bearing an uncanny resemblance to Garfield. Unsurprisingly, Qayla was able to build an immediate bond with Shakra and the two have been attached at the hip since. Qayla has shown, time and time again, through her captivation of trust from tea cup pigs named Francis Bacon, to the petting zoo animals of rural Pennsylvania, her connection with the furry friends she encounters is unparalleled. She commands a trust from every creature she meets, through her demonstration of respect and lovingness to them. I trust Qayla with my own four legged friends, Chuck and Smokey, and I know everyone else who encounters her would, too.
