Hi I'm Amanda. a California gal that grew up with dogs since I was 6 months old. From standard poodles to Rhodesian ridgebacks I've owned and loved them all. As a transplant to NYC I've been watching friend's dogs in the city for the past 5 years while freelancing as a designer.

It was my first time using the site and was nervous leaving my dog (who is very used to staying in our apartment with family friends while we are away) with someone new in a different environment. Amanda was was super accommodating to some of my dog's odd behavior quirks as he got used to being away from us and updated me along the way with pictures of their fun walks and notes. She was clearly very loving and responsible with my dog. I am very grateful for her service and would surely leave my dog in her care again if she is available!

Amanda took good care of Maggie during the 14 days I was on vacation. She kept me informed about Maggie, sent pictures and even bought her a toy during the stay. I will recommend Amanda to other dog owners.
Amanda was great with my dog, Mickey. He loved her at first sight! She has a lot of experience from dogs growing up, and it was clear she was a natural. She knew all of the right questions to ask to ensure Mickey would be safe and well cared for during their time together. We will definitely ask Amanda to come take care of Mickey again!

Availability
My husband and I live in a co-op building with its own private grounds, including a fenced yard. We are across the street from a modest park (Bennet Park) and 5 blocks away from the massive Ft. Tryon Park which has a secured dog run for small and large dogs.
