Hi! I'm a 28 yr old working professional (I work for the state health department) and I work from home full time M-F and am fully vaccinated and boosted for COVID 19. Any fur babies that stay with me recieve 24/7 care. I've grown up with two family dogs (lab/retriever mix and husky, both rescues), as well as cats (we mostly adopted strays). I absolutely adore animals. My sister and I have had bunnies (Holland lop), lizards, geckos, snakes, cats, and dogs over the years. When I board my pets, I hope that they'll be so busy and spoiled that they won't miss me, so expect that I'll do the same for yours! Between myself and my dog, your dog will be wayyyy to busy to get sad. We go on walks, play fetch in the yard, cuddle on the couch, and on the bed at night. Currently I have one neutered, friendly and hyper dog, Xena, who loves other people/dogs. Xena's a little shy with people unless she has her favorite ball. She's super outgoing with other dogs. I work from home every day 5 days a week due to COVID. I have a good sized yard for the dogs to play in and a water sprinkler if your fur baby loves water. I have experience with rescues, senior dogs, young puppies, potty training, and dogs with special needs. Xena has some auto immune disorders so medication administration is no issue. I trained my dogs and can provide training as well for younger dogs if needed during home visits/boarding/day care at night (no extra cost). My fur babies know sit, stay, shake, high 5, wait, no, down, roll over, off, move, and stop. I always watch my sisters pets (she has a 13 yr old sheltie rescue, a 2 yr old corgi, and two cats). I have experience with skittish cats/kittens (my sisters cat gets scared by her own tail), aggressive cats, and playful/outgoing cats. I used to regularly foster cats for the shelters up in Temple, Texas. I fostered both cats and kittens, large and small breeds. Xena isn't food agressive and doesn't resource hoard. Since I work from home for the majority of the week, I can provide super frequent potty breaks and play time. I usually take mine outside to play fetch for 10-15mins every hour and then play with them inside as work allows. We go on 2-3 walks a day around the neighborhood as long as it's not raining or snowing I currently work at home full time so any "down time" at work is spent with my pets! We usually play outside/inside for 15-20 mins every hour. I have a fenced yard and pets are allowed everywhere (bed, couches). We take lots of walks and play breaks. There's a walking trail behind my house that we frequent. I also have a large crate if needed. Reach out if you have any questions!! Overnight bookings are for 24 hours per Rover Policy (if drop off is at 1-3pm, pick up should also be 1-3pm). If pick up time is more than 1 hour from the 24 window (ex drop off is 1-3pm and pick up is 4-6pm), I will be adding a $10 daycare fee.
