Since 2021, I have been an owner to a beautiful Saluki dog. His name is Otis. I have taken extensive training to learn about dogs. I have completed units in Dog Training & Behaviour and Leash Training. I have achieved distinction marks. I have learned how to create an incredible bond with my dog. If he is feeling bored, I start to play with him and I always keep him engaged so that he is not bored. I give him treats. I take him for regular walks and ensure the walks to run smoothly. He has built so much trust in me. I clean him reguarly. I always put his welfare first above friends. If I feel he is unwell, I comfort him and call vet if necessary like his whining felt abnormal, causing concerns. That was down to seperate anxiety as he stayed in shelter for some days due to my wife having an heart attacks and she was in hospital care. Once we both returned, he gave us big hug missing us very much. I can understand and bond with dogs and give the same care for any dogs who need taking care of whether it is walking or sitting. I love dogs very much since childhood. Being dyspraxic, I have a special connection with dogs. I want to start a career with dogs.
