If they have any reactive behaviors towards other dogs, I understand and it wont deter me but for the safety of both of us it’s important for me to know ahead of time. Even if it’s only under specific circumstances.

We will go for a walk or even a hike if it’s a higher energy dog and I have enough notice. If I do a drop in I’ll feed, cuddle, run around-play fetch with your dog, play with your cat or maybe just sit in their general area for a while before I leave if they’d prefer. For really high energy dogs and clients that want to work with me regularly I’m happy to teach some hurdle jumping and/or simple tricks to a puppy or already reasonably trained adult dog like I did for my own when she was higher energy. :)
