Pet care experience
After 15 years of work in the field of child welfare, I am now staying at home and using my love of animals and skills as a pet-mom to help take care of your furry family members! I also have experience with pet sitters myself, as my husband and I have needed daily drop-in visits for our cats for sometimes weeks at a time. So I know some of the things that are important when considering a pet sitter. YOU are the expert on your family pet! I grew up with dogs and cats in the home (and a guinea pig and hamster). For over 15 years my husband and I have owned stray/adoptive cats and currently have White Wonder, an all-white stray cat who befriended one of our other pets through the window. Until our recent move to Fauquier County, our living space was not large enough to accommodate dogs, so we loved on everyone else’s. As a matter of fact, we are those people who probably stop you and ask you if we can pet your dogs when you are out on a walk!!! I am quite active and would love to take your dog(s) out for walks or visit your dogs/cats in the home. I can also provide care for rabbits, rodents, or other furry family members. I have experience with senior cats as well, including the administration of insulin and special daily medical needs. * Please note that at this time, I am only accepting requests from female pet owners. Priscilla is absolutely wonderful! If my fiancé and I could give more than 5 stars, we would. My fiancé and I were using Rover for the first time and she helped us navigate the process. After she agreed to watch our puppy, she took the time to stop by our place to meet him and get to know where his food, leash, etc...was. An extra effort that wasn’t required, as we could have done everything by email, but she did it. Yet, the most important aspect; she took phenomenal care of our puppy on the days we worked. Pretty sure our puppy made a new friend! Priscilla is caring, hardworking, professional yet personable. We will definitely be asking for her help in the future. If anyone deserves a ABCD award (Above and Beyond the Call of Duty), it’s Priscilla!

I'm so glad that I found Priscilla to walk my dog! She was super professional and personable. I was easily able to set up a time for a meet and greet prior to the day she was actually stopping by. When she was over, I got lots of updates and pictures which really put me at ease. She was super attentive to everything I told her about my dog and took notes on when to stop by and how to feed her. She also left the sweetest note for me and my dog when she left at the end of the day. My dog can be needy and Priscilla was great with her. I would definitely use her again!
Priscilla is one of the most caring, compassionate people I have ever met. I worked with Priscilla for seven years and she was incredibly hardworking, energetic, and she always jumped in to help with whatever was needed to get a job done. One of the things Priscilla is most passionate about is animals. She was known to rescue any animal she saw in distress, going to great lengths to be sure it was properly treated and cared for. She is a loving and dedicated pet owner, and I remember how particular she was about who she hired to care for her pets when she was away, so she understands the importance of choosing the right pet sitter. Priscilla will be an outstanding, reliable dog sitter. As the owner of two dogs, I would, without reservation, jump at the chance to have Priscilla care for my beloved pets.

A typical day
Where do you normally walk? At what pace? What is your dog or cat's favorite type of play? When walking your dog or visiting your cat/dog in the home, we'll enjoy the things your pet loves. Whether that's ear rubs, playing catch, or just sitting together while he/she anticipates your return! Once again, YOU are the expert on your family pet. I want to do what you know he/she needs and loves.
