I split my time between caring for elderly/disabled/special needs adults, and caring for animals. I've been caring for animals since I was a child, and doing so professionally for 12 years, when I began working at a dog hotel. I continued caring for dogs via in home petsitting and private hikes/walks. I understand that pets are not just animals, but loved members of the family, and treat my pet clients with the love and care I would treat my own pets. Each pet has it's own needs, demeanor, temperament, and I take all of that into account to give them the care and environment they need to feel comfortable while in my care. I understand that details are VERY important, especially so if a pet has a special diet or takes medication. Their meds will be given to them following the schedule and details provided to me.
