Pet care experience
I have loved all animals, especially dogs, since before I can remember. I grew up with a dog, rabbits, and turtles and frequently took care of friends and neighbors' dogs. Since January 2018, I have been fostering dogs from local rescues. I have fostered many dogs spanning from 8 weeks to 8 years old, with or without medical conditions (heartworm recovery, hematoma, allergies, separation anxiety, malnourished, etc.), and way too many breeds to count. Through fostering, I have learned a lot about training to make dogs ready for their forever home and frequently do house training, basic commands, crate training, leash walking, social skills, and others with my fosters. Fostering has given me so much experience and makes me confident that I will be able to love and adequately take care of your pup no matter the age, breed, or personality.

Priscilla took great care of my shy senior dog when I went out of town. She took lots of pictures and videos, and spoiled my dog like she was her own. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in Priscilla’s care. I would not hesitate to book again!
Priscilla has taken care of our two-year-old rescue dog Ursula on a number of occasions, and there is no one with whom I would feel more comfortable leaving Ursula! Ursula has a definite connection with Priscilla, as Priscilla has taken the time to "read" her and do the activities that are fun for Ursula but that also build mutual trust. She commands Ursula's respect, but she's also a cuddle buddy, which is important to me while I'm away. I would recommend Priscilla without reservation, particularly for those dogs that need a little extra understanding.

I will be taking photos/videos of your pet for your peace of mind. If you want more, please let me know! I always get more separation anxiety than my own dog, so I totally understand 🙂. In your home, I am happy to adapt to the needs and wants of you and your pet. I understand that it can be a little daunting to let a stranger into your home, so I am happy to meet with you and your pet before-hand to make sure it is a good fit and to make you as comfortable as possible. For my own home, my husband and I own a house and have a completely fenced-in yard for the utmost security. I have an 8 yr old dog who tends to be apathetic to other dogs and is happy to ignore and do her own thing, as long as everyone knows she is the queen. We also have a puppy that loves making new friends. **So I don't stress out my older pup, I am not accepting puppies/young dogs (under 2) that are over 40lbs (for boarding/doggy daycare).**

Each dog has their own definition of fun. I consider it my job to find out what that is for your pet! Whether that's walks with lots of sniffs, laying out in the sun, lots of cuddles, chasing a ball, hitting up the dog park, or some quiet alone time, I'm happy to adapt to their wants.
