Pet care experience
I've been sorrounded by animals my whole life, from cats to dogs and horses, I was always playing with them and taking care of them. I have more experience having cats as pets but usually I'd take care of my family's and friend's dogs when they were away. Animals are my passion, hence why I study veterinarian medicine and I am now doing a gap year to volunteer in a zoo, where I also take care of a few animals.

Lovely girl. Was very flexible and covered last minute. Early morning start and turned up well in time. Genuine love of animals which she demonstrated while looking after Luna. Luna enjoyed her time with Prisca. Happy to use her again.

Prisca has a very warm and kind nature. She has often taken my elderly lab for a stroll in and around the local park here. She shows alot of patience and dedication to my lab, as slow as he may be, she is ever kind and gentle with him. I will soon be going away and I have every confidence to have Prisca house sit, care and walk my dog with complete peace of mind. Prisca has an innate interest in the animal world and has spent many hours in the Zoo observing and learning from animals. Her natural affinity for the animal world is very obvious as her face lights up near them. I have every confidence in Prisca when it comes to caring for pets and their wellbeing. I live in a pet-friendly shared house with two lovely and friendly dogs and I have a big fenced garden. There are doors separating each room in the house so if I ever see that the dogs are not getting along I can always separate them, however the dogs here are very friendly and love meeting other dogs!

For me it's important to know ahead of time: if the dog is trained, if he's agressive, if he likes other dogs and does well in open spaces with them, if he has favourite toys or favourite places to go, he's medical information, if he has any traumas or fears, if he likes to be groomed or washed, his breed (if known) because it helps estimating how often he should walk and exercise, his diet information.
A typical day
I absolutly love to run, so if your dog is fit and energetic we would make a great team! My favourite places to go are hills and parks as well. I like the quiet of the hills but the park is more practical to play around with the dogs, for example to play freesby or fetch. I also like to train dogs so if you want to teach yours some tricks I could give you a paw ;)

Availability
I am free mostly during week days since I like to volunteer in the zoo on the weekends when they're more busy. However if a urgent need comes I might be able to cover fpr one of the weekend days. During week days I am free all day long, but would prefer having bookings from 9am to 11pm.
