I’ve raised 4 of my own dogs and have trained and cared for puppies and dogs of all ages and sizes. My older dog is a registered service animal and my younger one is working on receiving her certification. I also have experience caring for older dogs in need of medicine or extra care. I have also fostered (failed) and raised 2 puppies on my own from newborn until 4 months, including bottle feeding, weaning, potty training. I currently am a dog mom to one of these puppies (Zora) and my older dog (Mac n’ Cheese).

We left our dog, Simba, with Pourna for five nights, and we're really happy with how everything went. Pourna was very helpful and quick to respond whenever we messaged her. She took great care of Simba, and we'd definitely choose her again if we need boarding in the future. Thanks, Pourna!
Pourna did a wonderful job house sitting, particularly under challenging circumstances as she cared for a highly disabled dog with special needs. Selecting a sitter is anxiety provoking (particularly given the added vulnerability of having a disabled pet), but I was quickly felt reassured by her caring nature. After leaving, her professionalism, intellect, and response times provided further reassurances. Upon returning, the dogs were calm, happy and without signs of stress showing they had been well taken care of! Further, the place was cleaner than I had left it and there was even had fresh milk for morning coffee :)
Pourna really knows how to take care of dogs. She was super nice and took care of my Suki just like I would. Also Suki was really happy when I got her back :) She kept me updated with what was going on, which was cool. It felt good knowing my dog was in safe hands. She even knew all the little things my dog likes, which was awesome. Also, she was really flexible with times for dropping off and picking up, which helped me a lot. It's great to find someone who treats your dog like their own. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone who needs a dog sitter. My dog loves going to her, and that's all I need to know.
Pourna has been fantastic with caring for my dog! I’ve used her for recurring walks and she has always been reliable, professional, and communicative. Pourna always sends the best pictures of my pup on her visits and makes me feel secure he’s being well taken care of! When I initially booked with her I let her know he is an 80lb leash reactive dog and asked what her comfort was handling that. I can attest to firsthand seeing her handle him securely and comfortably as he lost his head at the UPS truck on our first meet and greet trial walk. She coordinates the walk schedule with me early in advance if any vacations/holidays are upcoming so we can plan accordingly or I can get alternate accommodations in a timely manner. I highly recommend her for caring for your furbabies and I will continue booking walks with her!

For both walks and drop-ins, I will check on the water and replace it with a fresh bowl if needed. I also like to give the dog some cuddles or pets and a treat if possible. If they want to play with any toys or have any special preferences, I am happy to accommodate to make sure they’re comfortable and enjoying their time. I have a 1 bedroom apartment with an attached yard.

- Puppy rates include training while regular rates do not. - Drop-in visits and walks are around 30 minutes each unless owner requests otherwise. not. - Please let me know how long of a walk your dog likes and their typical routine/preferences. For drop-ins, please specify what you need done (i.e. feed 2 cups, let them go potty, treats).
A typical day
The dogs and I go on 3 walks a day (Morning, Afternoon, and Evening). We also frequent the dog park regularly (sometimes those with water on hots days!). We like taking long walks, visiting lakes, and going to dog friendly restaurants with our friends.

Availability
I’m currently available for dog walking and drop in visits. I work from home half the week and most available for morning and evening bookings. I am available for both weekday and weekend bookings and am as flexible as my schedule allows. I can be open to house sitting, but will need to discuss on a case by case basis.
