I have known Portia B. her whole life and she has always had a great love for, and gift with, animals. She has an intuitive sense of animals - their personalities, their moods, their needs - and her responses to them are calibrated and fine tuned accordingly. She has always been very loving toward dogs, whether her own or other people's, and toward animals in general. She is dedicated to their welfare, conscientious about their care and delighted by them. She even cared single handedly with sole responsibility for a beloved horse who lived in the family barn when she was growing up - he was always beautifully cared for, exercised and groomed.
