I have always loved all animals since i was a young child. I always grew up with a multitude of animals in the home from dogs, to parrots, fish, reptiles and snakes. Although I love being with animals I definitely have a soft spot for dogs. I've always felt able to understand dogs better than other animals or even people. I have experience with dogs all sorts of shapes and sizes breeds and behaviours. I've had rottweilers, Akitas, Mastiffs, And even Miniature Schnauzers in the home growing up. When i moved into my first home I started looking after other people's pets at 18. This then evolved into fostering animals too. I mainly fostered Staffordshire bull terriers or mixes, with the occasional lab, whippet or spaniel coming to stay. I also had the pleasure of hand rearing kittens which my whippet foster at the time stepped in to keep them warm. I then took in a staffordshire bull terrier named Skyla. She had puppies and was in a real sad state. Once i managed to get the pups healthy and into their forever homes, it was time to help the girl out. She was very Afraid but we soon got her gain confidence and believe in the world, despite all she went through she always wanted to make people smile. I fell in love with her and so she stayed, I stopped fostering but continued with helping owners' through walking their dogs and dog sitting. Sadly in July 2018 Skyla passed away suddenly from a brain tumour. She has given me the strength to continue on with starting a Pet service in her name to continue helping other animals by offering to treat them as part of our family, whether that's going on fun walks or having a cuddle on the sofa.
