Pet care experience
I have had the joy of being around dogs my whole life. I absolutely love taking care of them and pampering them! My experience in tending to these wonderful companions spans a diverse spectrum. I've had the pleasure of looking after dogs of all shapes and sizes, from large breeds to the small. My journey in dog care has exposed me to the vibrant energy of high-spirited, playful pups, where I have looked after them with patient guidance and nurturing. I have also been able to care for senior dogs, where gentleness and understanding take precedence, and every moment becomes an opportunity to provide comfort and companionship. The variety of my experience has allowed me to adapt my approach based on the unique needs and personalities of each dog, whether it's engaging in lively activities with the energetic ones or offering a quiet, comforting presence to the more laid-back companions.

Toast had had an absolutely fantastic time with Poppy, Rich and Prim. We had lots of great updates and can tell he's had a really nice time, he even wanted to follow Rich back home! He's settled back at home really well and settled well at Poppy's place too. All round a fantastic family to leave your pooch with. Will be booking again shortly for our next trip abroad. Toast clearly felt like he was on a luxury holiday of his own too!
Poppy did a great job with my 13 year old dog. She was super responsive, and I had a lot of updates during our time away. I will definitely be booking with her again.

I live in a rural area on the Forest of Bowland in a quaint cottage. I have an enclosed garden at back of the house which dogs love to sniff about in. Pets are allowed anywhere in the house, even the sofa or bed for snuggles. My own dog is extremely friendly and has, apart from recently, lived with another dog so would love the company. During the day, there are plenty of nearby areas that I will use to walk the pups, including lots of walks round the Forest of Bowland. If staying overnight they can sleep on the bed, or in the bedroom, wherever they are most comfortable as that is most important to reduce their anxiety and stress.

A typical day
Dogs love our scenic location and all the smells that the area has to offer - including deer, pheasants and lots of other birds! We give the dogs walks depending on their energy levels - for the more energetic ones we take them up the scenic points. The dogs also have frisbee and ball walks to burn off their energy! We also play lots of tug of war games with the pups which they love. After all the excitement the pups cuddle on the sofa or in front of the log burner.

Availability
I currently work no more than 3 days a week (mon-sun) which allows me to look after pups at short notice. If given notice then I will ensure that I am off work for the duration of the pups stay.
