Pet care experience
I have been fostering rescue dogs from the past 2 years providing them with love and care. Have volunteered with Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, MA, and Tiramisu Rescue Organization, CA to foster and care for dogs in need. I have experience in socializing timid dogs, helping them overcome their fears and getting them ready for adoption. I do occasional pet-setting for families that have adopted from Tiramisu Rescue Org. Additionally, I also serve as a house visit volunteer for Tiramisu, where I visit houses of potential adopters and ensure a safe and healthy environment for the dogs that get adopted. I grew up with a Dalmatian at home in India, and have always been passionate about caring for animals. I understand the breed specific needs as well as the individual personality needs of each dog and willing to cater for the same. Having first hand experience of the difficulties in finding proper pet boarding solutions and facilities, I am now looking to offer responsible and quality pet boarding for dogs, and help out pet owners.

Pooja and Karthik took very good care of my baby boy- Olaf. We left him for a week and he came back home looking fatter, like after a good vacation. They kept sending pictures and videos throughout the day, which made us feel very relieved. Olaf is not socialised with dogs due to covid so they took extra care to keep him separate and safe. Olaf still picks up his ball to play with Karthik, when we mention “Karthik’s” name. My daughter even got a “best dog sitter” oscar award for them from Hollywood Boulevard, where we went for our vacation. Recommend them!
Left our little boy Olaf for a day. Our first time as he’s a covid baby. It was nerve wrecking. Puja and Karthik took very good care of our boy, fed him on time, played with him and kept sending pics which made us feel at ease.
We have used several dog sitters in the past for our labradoodle, and I would have to say that Pooja ranks among the top. From start to finish, she was great with communication and was quick to respond to messages. She took the time to proactively send text updates, pictures, and videos throughout our pups one night stay, which helped us see just how great a time our pup was having in her care. I will definitely be using Pooja again!
This is the first time that we board our dog. She's never been away from us since we adopted her. She is also reactive and we weren't sure how she would do. Pooja and her husband took really good care of her and took their time for her to get comfortable with them. They also slowly introduced their foster dog to Mochi. Pooja sent pictures and videos to us along with updates throughout the day letting us know how Mochi was going. Mochi was very happy when we picked her up. We will definitely book with Pooja again next time when we need to board Mochi.

I live in a 4 bed townhome with sufficient indoor space for your pets to explore. They will be under my supervision at any given time of the day. I may also have a friendly foster pup at home, so your pet will have someone to keep them company. I usually take my pup(s) out for walk 3-4 times a day within a quiet pet-friendly community. I also have a stock of dog toys, beds, playpen and a crate that can be used as needed.

A typical day
Weekday walks would be around the neighborhood. On weekends, I like to go on hikes, beach, parks in and around the bay area with my foster dogs.
