Hi, my name is Polly and I live with my boyfriend Rez in the West End! We absolutely adore animals and have looked after dogs, cats, and bunnies since we were little. We love Rover which has given us the opportunity to be able to take care and love so many different dogs as we also hope to rescue our own pup in the near future!

Polly and Rez are great! Our older Yorkie, who takes a while to get to know people, has stayed with them a couple of times now and they take excellent care of him. They’re very accommodating for his “senior-ness”! We would highly recommend them!
Polly and Rez made Pepsi feel very comfortable during her first stay. Lots of pictures and I could tell she was comfortable.
Polly and Rez took great care of Pepsi while she was recovering from surgery, including giving her her medicine. I would highly recommend them.

I currently work part time, thus there will be some days neither Rez nor I will be home for about 3-5 hours. During our initial conversation, I will highlight which days those are (if it coincides with the booking) and so you can decide if it will work with your pup. Aside from that, I am generally home and can fit around your pet's cuddling, playtime, and potty needs!

I'd love to know everything about your pet! Prior to booking, we will schedule an in person or phone M&G so we can discuss all the questions we have to ensure we can provide the best personalized care for your pup!
A typical day
On a sunny day, I'd love to take your pup to English bay for a nice walk along the seawall or at one of the many dog parks/fields nearby (only if you are okay with it!). I also understand if our neighborhood is too busy for your pup and happy to take them to our apartment's rooftop or common room patio for a quieter walk. While we live in a 1 br apartment, our building is extremely pet friendly with a dog park right on our floor. We also have a large patio for dogs who would like to people watch or to lounge in the sun! When it's too hot, we have AC in our apartment to stay cool through the heatwave. We also love having our pups as comfortable as can be and they are free to lounge on our bed or couch as they wish!

Availability
Aside from general experience we have with young and older dogs, small to larger breeds, I also received my Canine First Aid Certification from DogSafe and have the necessary knowledge and skills to proactively detect any canine issues and take appropriate actions for any emergencies or first aid situations including CPR, choking, wound care, and more. ***Please note if you will need day care service past 8 hours, we ask that you book with us under boarding rate.***
