Who Let the Dogs Out? Not Me!
Pet care experience
First of all, apologies for the silly pun. I was trying to be clever but I'm sure it's more cringe than smart! Secondly, I absolutely adore animals. I always have and always will prefer their company to most humans. I have had pets my whole life, ranging from smaller ones like rodents and fish, up to mid range such as rabbits and cats and then finally, of course, dogs. Before owning a dog in the family when I was 8 years old, I was tasked with the fun job of helping my elderly neighbour take his excitable Black Lab out for walks after school. He was high-energy, speedy as anything and as goofy as most Lab's are. It was my absolute favourite thing to do in the world, and definitely helped spark my passion to beg my parents for a dog of our own. I have had plenty of dog walking and sitting experience in the past due to the sheer volume of people in my life who own dogs. I have looked after other dogs for as long as 3 weeks at a time, and have even helped a few friend's train their puppies. I am confident in most areas of dog care as I have had to do pretty much all of it over the years. The one thing I don't like doing is nail clipping, only because I once received an angry nip to the fingers. Please let me know if you'd like to know more in detail and I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Was so happy to find someone trustworthy, lovely and experienced to look after our puppy Kiddo. We 100% recommend Polly as a pet sitter ! Amazing communication. Asked all the right questions to make sure they knew how to properly look after Kiddo. Left the house clean and tidy. Sent lots of pictures like we asked. Polly did a fantastic job, we will definitely be trying to book in with her any time we need a sitter in the future. Can’t thank you enough !
Polly was incredible from start to finish! She came round to meet me and Santo beforehand, and on the day of the catsit was kind enough to come a little earlier than I'd originally requested. Polly is obviously a big cat lover and gave me plenty of updates about my elderly cat, so I felt secure and happy the entire time I was away. Santo was completely chilled and content when I got home – I think he had a lovely time! Thanks, Polly!
Polly has been great when looking after my Lurcher x Staffie, Meeko. Meeko can be a bit of a handful at times - she is a bit cheeky and sometimes reactive with other dogs. Meeko is a rescue and Polly understands her quirks and manages them very well. I trust Polly 100% when she has Meeko overnight and out on walks, I would definitely recommend her to look after all of your animals!
Polly as a pet sitter is fantastic! She provides loving care, follow instructions meticulously, and always go above and beyond. I highly recommend her services!

I currently have two foster cats at my house, so unfortunately I can't have any pets at mine overnight just yet. The cats won't be here forever though, so once they go back to their owner I am more than happy to open that possibility up. I have a walled in garden which makes it very safe and easy for animals to come in and out as they please, without the fear of them managing to escape somehow. I am a domestic cleaner, so I am incredibly used to being in and out of people's homes and I'm trusted with many a key as it is. I am respectful and follow rules to a T, so there's no need to be nervous about a stranger coming to your house.

I currently only work 3 days a week, meaning I have plenty of spare time to focus on pets. I do have a six year old, so if any pet care duties were to fall on an evening where he is with me rather than his Dad, then obviously they would have to be child-friendly pets. That doesn't mean all of them have to be of course, as I have lots of time during school hours/every other weekend when he is with his Dad, that he won't be around.
