I'll love your dog like it's my own

Pet care experience

I’ve been around dogs my entire life and have always loved them! Dogs deserve the best and should always be given the amount of love and attention that we would give to our own human child. All the dogs I’ve spent time with and cared for (and myself) have always been at ease, comfortable, and happy during all my experiences. I’m very outgoing and love spending my time with the dogs in my life and going to parks and being in the sun. I am a 2018 graduate of Nazareth College and have a degree in English and Special Education and am pursuing my Masters through Nazareth College in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). I look forward to meeting and working with you and your amazing dog! *A quick note for the NEW House Sitting Services* I have a lot of experience House Sitting/Dog Sitting, but I won’t stay the night in your house unless I truly know you or you are a repeat client. Instead of staying the night I would stay a couple of hours in your house with your dog, and also check in every couple of hours as well to make up for not staying the night!

Was nervous to hire someone to stay with my dog while I was out of town for the weekend because I’ve never done it before, but PJ was GREAT! Thanks for keeping me updated with pictures and messages so I wasn’t worried and checking in and staying with him for hours all three days! I’ll definitely need you to watch him again in August while on vacation!

PJ was so good with my dogs. I have 2 rescued pitbulls and have struggled to find sitters who are willing to work with rescues and especially rescued pitbulls. PJ didn’t not mind whatsoever and was able to see past the stereotype so many others have and my dogs loved him! Thanks for keeping them happy while I was running errands all day!

Thanks for taking Max out for a walk and bringing him home ready for a nap and all tuckered out! Max had such great time with you at North Ponds Park and loved getting a chance to play with the tennis balls he loves so much. I can’t wait to book with you again in the near future!

So happy working with PJ! I had to go out of town for a business trip (which rarely happens) and it was the worst timing ever because I just recently had adopted my Jack Russell Terrier puppy! Thankfully I had PJ to book with for the week to watch my house and do several check-in’s on my baby and make sure he was safe and happy! Can’t wait to book with him again! Thank you so much for keeping my busy boy busy and tiring him out all week!

Information PJ M. would like to know about your pet

Knowing your dog’s temperament is so helpful and how they are around new people (me!), and how they usually are in public places like parks. If your dog doesn’t do well in parks or around new dogs and people, then I would walk your dog in an even lower trafficked environment and stick to quiet suburban neighborhoods. Also knowing your dog’s activity level is extremely helpful for planning the pace/intensity during walks and if additional activities are recommended or should be included. I have no breed preferences, but am more willing to put a short haired dog or dog that sheds less, in my car to travel to close and safer walking destinations...but I love all dogs the same, no hate!

A typical day

Always leashed walks through open/public parks in Webster, NY, never in dense trails or on busy roads. Walks can include quiet strolls and jogging (and even the occasional run) in upperscale, low traffic neighborhoods near my home, North Ponds Park or Parks on Lake Rd adjacent to Lake Ontario, and time to relax and lay down off the leash in my large fenced-in backyard (1/2 an acre) without any worry of long grasses or irritants like ticks or certain plants. I only plan on walking your dog where there is low risk for both your dog and myself and where I know we will both be safe. I prefer to watch 1 dog or dogs from 1 owner at a time, but if your dog does well with other dogs and you’d prefer it to be socialized, we could arrange something!
