Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs my whole life. My mum and I foster greyhounds for a charity in Bristol and have been doing this for 3 years. We have looked after more that 20 dogs in that time, some who had never been in a house before. Some had injuries, some had behavioural issues. I am very confident around dogs of all sizes and personalities. I am free all other days for walking, house sitting or popping in for a toilet trip and a little play. I currently amd not in a situation where I can have dogs in my current home, however when I am housesitting I will always make sure that doors are secure and I am supervising when out in the garden. I will always walk dogs on lead and am very responsible. As an owner of very big dogs I am very comfortable and confident around all dogs!

Leaving our greyhound Juno with Pippa was a hassle free and pleasant experience. Pippa has wonderful communication skills, and a lovely demeanour. She took great care of Juno, who stayed in here flat for 4 days. We would have no hesitation in using Pippa again in the future!

I like to get a brief description of a dogs personality before meeting. I will also ask you if your dog is friendly with other dogs, other people, and children. Please let me know of anything your dog may need from me. I am very confident and accommodating so there is no need to worry if your dog doesn't like other dogs, or is nervous around orher people for example. I have lots of experience working with dogs with behavioural issues so there is no need to worry.
A typical day
I love to spend some time getting to know each dog before taking them out anywhere. Even 10 minutes or so where both myself and the dog can feel comfortable with each other. I love walking so am very happy walking for an hour plus. I also am very happy to let each dog explore and sniff and get all the physical and mental stimulation that they need or want.
