Your dogs new best friend!

Pet care experience

I love dogs! Dogs of all shapes, sizes and ages! I’ve grown up with dogs since I was a kiddo and have experience in puppy training, potty training, and general care of animals. My family dogs have long since passed (may they be having the best time in doggy heaven) but every home I’ve lived in there’s been a dog. Ive taken care of roommates dogs, dog and house sit for friends - sometimes they don’t even ask, (I just wanna hang out with their dog). I love senior dogs and watched my own dogs live to the end of their lives. I’d love to be there to support you and your fur friend when you most need it. In Hawaiian culture people aren’t called “pet owners”. Kahu is used to describe our relationship with pets. Guardian. Protector. Steward. Beloved attendant. Someone entrusted with the safekeeping of something precious. Something cherished. My favorite celebrity dog is Wishbone. A few of my best friends names are Pancho, Henry and Max. I hope one day to have a pup of my own, but until then, I’ll hope you’ll allow me to take care of yours!

Piper did a great job communicating with me while she watched my 2 pups over the weekend. She was very patient and understanding with my extremely anxious border collie mix. So appreciative of her kindness.

Piper was amazing! She really loves animals and on top of that, she left our house so clean and welcoming when we came home from a long trip. The dogs were happy, which made us happy! I would highly recommend her to anyone!

Piper was fantastic! We had her house and dog sit our two mini-Aussies who are used to a very complex schedule. Translation: they are spoiled to death. Piper jumped right in and took over like a champ. Even our very shy Sammie took to her in just a couple of days. Her communication was great and timely and we came home to a spotless house. But the most amazing thing about Piper was that during the 11 days we were gone there was the biggest ice storm of the season and Piper was unflappable. She handled it with a calm that put my mind at ease. I will definitely be booking Piper again.

I live in an single apartment that’s cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood is close to a few parks, and college hill - purrfect for walks, and plenty of grass patches to go potty. I don’t mind if your fur friend is on the furniture or the bed; I can crate your pup, but also don’t mind if they are bed sleepers. When sitting in your home, I am flexible and will meet the needs and schedules your provide. I hope to recreate the same care and attention your pets would typically get.

Information Piper M. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if there is any thing specific I need to know when caring for your animal. Do they require medication? What is their walking ability (short neighborhood walks? Long hikes?) Do they get along with other dogs? Are they used to sleeping in a bed or a crate? What is their energy level? Any information provided that will help me to get to know your dog would be great!

A typical day

Watching your dog would look like: Going on walks. Trips to the dog park. Lake swims. Car rides. Hikes. Fetch. Tug of war. Rainy day snuggles. The possibilities are endless.
