Over the past 6 years, I have worked with a local Missoula family as their go-to dog/house sitter. In that time I have learned the best methods for caring for multiple animals at once as well as respectfully caring for their home while I am there. It is my personal belief to leave a space better than when I entered it, so when you get me to care for your animal you can be assured that your home will be in good hands as well. As your animal's caregiver, I will treat your furry family member with the same love and respect I would give to my own. I will do everything in my power to follow any and all instructions you give me to make this an easy and pleasant experience for both the human and the animal! As someone who grew up with multiple animals, I know how much work and attention goes into caring for them and will act accordingly.

It was so great having Piper watch our pets! She was really easy to communicate with and the dog and cat were both happy and anxiety-free when we got home from our trip. Looking forward to having her pet sit for us again!!

Piper is an awesome young woman who will take great care of your poochers. Her nickname has always been the “dog whisperer” meaning she has a great affinity to anticipate the needs of any animal, but mostly of dogs. She is dependable, thoughtful, and very caring. She loves to walk and experience the neighborhood especially while walking dogs. She grew up with Molly, a big black lab, who was her buddy and constant companion. Just like humans, animals have their quirks and preferred methods of handling. Before sitting for your dog I would like to know if they are food aggressive, leash pullers (on walks), any specific commands you use with your dog, and any tendencies you wish for me to be aware of to avoid or encourage! I want to keep up any training you have worked on with your dog so they are not tempted to revert to undesired tendencies in my care.
A typical day
During this beautiful Montana winter I take any opportunity to get out of the house to get some fresh air and to move my body! If I get the honor to look after your dog, I will spend our time together exploring the trails around Missoula giving them an opportunity to enjoy the fresh mountain air and new places to sniff and exercise in. I do understand that not all dogs have the same needs/ abilities and will customize each activity accordingly!
