Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of my own pets since I was 12. I’ve always had cats and I recently rescued a senior dog. My family always ask me to take care of their dogs for a week long when they go on vacation. I have experience with high energy dogs like Shibas. I also volunteered for Linden pet shelter when I was in college. I know how to administered oral and topical medication. I’m also an EMT certified by the state of New Jersey for nearly 10 years.

This is my cat's first time boarding with anyone on rover and I must say that Pilar made the experience very smooth and relaxing. Not only she kept me posted but she's also very organized about everything which I liked the most. I will definitely be boarding my cat again to her place.
She is v good person she know how to take cares pets
Pilar was great! She did a meet and greet with us first and then followed our instructions for walking our dog. Thankful she could come through for us on a Sunday evening! Will use her again!

I would appreciate if you share any special needs or behaviors that your dog might have to be able to accommodate them in a safe and comfortable manner. I like all breeds and at the same time they are all unique and need to be taken into consideration. Please let me know if your dog has any troubles with other animals or how to best walk them or if only backyard time is preferred). Please also let me know any health and/or dietary restrictions.
A typical day
I love to stimulate your dog both mentally and physically. We will go to big parks near the area and wish to get all the zoomies out! If your dog is into running we can do that too.

I’m home every weekend. I have an office job that is very flexible and allows me to be reliable in the early mornings as well as in the evenings.
