Pet care experience
🐾 Hello! My name is Pia. 🐾 Dogs have been a part of my life since childhood. Growing up I had a Dachshund named Max and a Chihuahua named Jack. Other than dogs, I've taken care of fish and hamsters! When Jack grew his white dustings on his fur, I was there to help take care of him in his age. As he was a senior dog at the time, he was paralyzed where I hand fed him and gave him medicine orally until it was his time to pass the Rainbow Bridge. I have volunteered to aid my local animal rescue for clean-up and play time. Occasionally, I pay a visit to the nearby cat lounge. When you are away, you can trust your fur baby in loving hands as an animal lover. No matter their size or age, they will be taken care of like family. ♡

Unfortunately, I personally cannot board your loved ones at my home due to our renting contract. I will keep you in touch with snapshots and updates on your fur baby. However, I live near Lake Barton, Burke Lake, and Lake Braddock with plenty selection of nature trails to take (if you live in the area). For any of the services I provide, I'd like to request a Meet & Greet, if possible, to properly introduce myself to you and to meet your pet(s). You can expect your home to be in the same state as you left with along with a satisfied pup.

I just need to know the basics about your pet, but I welcome any more information that is not listed! Importantly, I'd like to know their health issues (allergies, medical conditions, etc.) and any habits. Are they a rescue? Are they potty trained or know any commands? What makes them happy? What makes your pet afraid or upset? What is their daily schedule like? For walks, I generally will try to avoid other people and pets. However, I can accommodate for socialization with people and/or other animals. Just let me know! Outside of your pet, please include your house rules as well.
A typical day
The day will depend on what your pet needs, I will ensure that your furry one gets the attention they deserve. Depending on your pet's needs, different engaging activities will be done for them (outside of food and water), such as playing with toys, getting their exercise, and getting to explore nature on nearby trails. Perhaps even a brushing or cuddles!

Availability
I am currently a college student. The days I am not in class, I will have plenty of time to spend with your furred family. For my current availability, I am generally available any day of the week from 12 PM to 10 PM for dog walking or drop-in visits. When the fall semester approaches, my future availability is tentative due to that. I only offer house sitting services in late spring to summer due to class. I am only able to provide these services at your home due to my renting contract.
