As far back as I can remember I have always had a dog or cat in my family. Growing up, our pets were very special in that they were treated to gifts at Christmas and baskets at Easter - one of the family, and lived long lives because they were so loved. Later, I became enamored of cats and have since loved one or more at one time in my home. My mother had to go in to assisted living in 2013 so I brought her sweet little chihuahua, Jack, who was her beloved companion since 2003 into my home (with my two cats) to love and care for him. I sadly had to put little Jack down 1 week before his 16th birthday. I can care for your loved fur-babies in my home or I can come to their home (in the case of cats - mine are leary of strangers) and handle litter box duties and feeding. For you dog/puppy parents, I am like a magnet to them - they tend to seek me out.

We love Phyllis! She always comments on how the visits go, and sends us photos knowing that we miss our Sid. Phyllis provided us with peace of mind knowing that our kitty was being looked after and loved on while we were away.
Phyllis always looks after our fur baby when we are away. She is so attentive to him and he loves her.
We love having Phyllis watch our girls!! She cuddles and plays fetch with them and is great at sending updates.
Phyllis went above and beyond caring for our kitty. Her updates with the photos from every drop-in visit were great peace of mind for us while we were away. I cannot recommend her enough!

I will need to know the feeding schedule, favorite type of exercise or playing and toys, and favorite petting/grooming technique and any medications to be administered. If you have a cat, I need to know the type personality, i.e. is the cat spooked easily, will he/she try to run out the door and/or leary of strangers and stay hidden or whether they could be aggressive.
A typical day
I live in a large neighborhood so a long walk is not a problem and I have a fenced back yard where we can play fetch. If you have a puppy in training, I will teach your training methods to continue the puppy’s practice.
