When Phoenix was not dealing with other issues in her life, she was very good with caring for our two small dogs. Maybe it is just me, however I leave a detailed list concerning the dogs and our home. for the most part, Phoenix tried to take care of the information. The dogs were fed, given some treats, and she did play with them. My concerns and recommendations for Phoenix is communicate! I was told the morning she was to start watching our dogs and home. That she needed to leave the house 3 different times to help her cousin. Also, to pick up a friend from work at a late hour. Our small dogs were very anxious and upset when she would leave. Especially at the late hour and not return until after midnight. we did communicate that our dogs need her. They are good for an hour or two at a time, however not late at night. Also, in a world without house phones, Phoenix indicated she did not have a Sim card for her cell phone. I could not call her cell phone number (that she gave me) only text through Rover. Problem with that is if there was an emergency, I was very concerned! We had our reservations, that was confirmed and paid, we needed to leave on with our trip. I was so worried! As a last thought Communication, a two to three weeks before a trip with your clients for changes in the arrangements you agreed upon when booked/meet and greet meeting, is highly recommended.
