I promise to treat your dog as if they were my own and shower them with love. I grew up with dogs my whole life. I love dogs large and small. My family started to rescue German Shepherds when I was about 12. With these shepherds I went to various training classes and learned quite a lot about dog behavior. Some of the dogs that we rescued had some quirks that would be unappealing to some people. However, with love, training and understanding these dogs fit into our family and I wouldn't want to trade any one of them for the world. I have been dog sitting for friends and family for many years and it is something that I enjoy. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I also grew up next to a horse farm and spent all of my free time there. On the farm we had several dogs, cats, chickens and horses of course. I have spent a lot of time around animals of all sizes, temperaments and past histories. I understand that animals have unique personalities and needs and as a sitter I will work with you to fulfill the needs of your individual pet. I currently do not have a dog but I do have a cat and he is wonderful. I know that your dog is more than just a pet and I take that responsibility seriously. I follow instructions well and if your dog has any special needs I will make sure that they are met. I am happy to take your dog to the park, on a run, a slow walk or whatever style exercise best suites them. I love spending time with animals and I can't wait to meet your four legged friends.
