I have experience with caring for small Maltese pups. For one family, I was assigned to be there for their pregnant dog while they were at work. I have assisted her with two births, in which I weighed each puppy, tagging them by gender, and assisting the mom with wrangling the puppies to her. Over the years, I have walked my neighbors dogs in mornings for those that had early shifts. I am able to walk small or even very large dogs as most of the dogs in my neighborhood were pit bulls. For the last summer, I have walked my sisters dog both mornings and evenings. She enjoys running so I have built up the endurance if your pup loves to run as much as she did. I am also a big cat lover, as I have one of my own for the last two years. Although cats have fewer needs than dogs, I love to be able to spend time with them by playing with their favorite toy, or leaving them alone if that’s their vibe.
