I care deeply 💜
Pet care experience
I have been professionally entrusted with dog, and cat sitting for six years now. I have a long history, and a deep connection to compassionate animal care. Our creatures are vulnerable, and rely on us for their needs. I understand that, and treat them affectionately as the special companions that they are. I provide safety, and attend to their well-being with a sense of privileged guardianship, and love.
Reviews
Phoebe is a wonderful pet sitter! She followed the extensive instructions for my eight pets to a T and asked clarifying questions when she needed to. She was prompt and communicative and updated me regularly on how the animals were doing. She also has a natural way with animals and immediately puts them at ease, and even my skittish little rabbit was instantly comfortable being held by her. She even got my fussy, picky frog to eat! She will love and care for your animals as much as you do. She even cared for one of my rats through her last days and was extremely compassionate both with me and with the rat as we went through that process from a distance. I can't recommend her enough!
This is our first time using Rover and couldn’t be happier with Phoebe! She’s very punctual and followed all the instructions we gave her and paid great attentions to details, and she genuinely cares a lot for our cats, asked the right questions and tried her best to accommodate their needs. She’s also very easy to communicate with. She left with an almost untouched house. Would definitely love to work with her again!
Phoebe did a great job taking care of my pup! She was very considerate and communicative during her stay!
Phoebe was amazing! She was available at the last minute when my regular puppy sitter cancelled. Ralphie warmed up to her right away. She was attentive and caring and spent time playing with him. I would highly recommend Phoebe!

I am present to the details of supervision, and emulate their regular routine as much as possible to reduce anxiety, and create a sense of ease.
Information Phoebe D. would like to know about your pet
What their favorite activities are, any history of health issues, if they have any triggers, if they are socialized with children and other dogs, if they have separation anxiety, if they have shown aggression to previous sitters, and at least one reliable emergency contact.
A typical day
Each animal is unique, so I engage with them accordingly. If a dog is active, and well-socialized, I would prioritize dog parks, play, walks, or jogs. If a dog is a rescue, or has separation anxiety, I would watch for their response to various activities to see what their needs are, and how to create boundaries for their peace of mind. If the animal is a senior, or has an injury, I would shift my pace to match theirs, and ask their owner what their routine, and capacity is. I make sure to show affection, care, attention, and guidance to the animals that are in my care.

Availability
I work twice at my job on site, up to 8.5 hours, so there will need to be some flexibility with your animals potty breaks + interaction. But, on my remote work days I have space and attention to devote.
