Pet care experience
Growing up I always had dogs. I've lived with them since childhood and have loved them like family. I recently cared for our family dog for two years while my family needed a break from his husky/puppy wildness. He's back with my family now that I've moved into a smaller apartment. I've also taken care of pups for many families throughout the years and have connected with their dogs as I got to know them. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors. I've run and hiked with my family dog many times and truly think pups love active walks and adventures. I work from home and have a flexible day time schedule. Additionally, I'm happy to stay overnight in your home to take care of your dog(s). I have two teensy cats living full time with me, if you are confident in your dog's ability to get along with easygoing cats please feel free to reach out for overnight stays. I would love to give all my extra love to your dog!

Phoebe has been a lifesaver since we got our new puppy. She has been able to house sit while we are at work to give the puppy the breaks it needs since he’s so young. She has done a great job of updating us on how both dogs are doing throughout the day. I would highly recommend Phoebe and plan on using her for future dog sitting.
As a person, Phoebe is incredibly kind, caring, and easy to work with, which stems from years of experience as a babysitter and petsitter in North Carolina. She currently has at home a labrador/husky mix that is as big as she is, and has all of the intelligence of a lab along with all of the crazy of a husky. I have seen her bring him up since he was a puppy, and she has done an exceptional job training and taking care so that he can be the happiest and healthiest dog possible. I know that any dog Phoebe is responsible for will be taken care of just as if it were her own. I would highly recommend Phoebe for any job related job you have!

I have no breed preferences-I'm open to all sizes and ages as well. I would love to know what some of the personality traits of the dog are, each pup is always individual. I would also like to know any important preferences, such as likes or dislikes other dogs, water play, heat, and anything else pertinent to making the dog happy during our time together.
A typical day
I love to run with dogs if they're active or just take long leisurely walks if they're a bit older/less active. I also think one on one play is very important, even if it is just inside with a tennis ball. I love to snuggle and will likely be petting the dog the entire time if not walking. The park is one of my favorite destinations!
