Pet care experience
I grew up loving and playing with my family’s dogs - from two high-energy 100 lb labradoodles to a gentle, timid shepadoodle we adopted from the shelter. In high school and college I frequently dog sat for friends and neighbors - both overnight and drop-ins for walks/feeding. I moved to NYC a few years ago and took a break from dog sitting and walking until I got settled professionally and personally in my new city. Finally feeling situated, I am ready and excited to play with and care for dogs again!

I am very patient with animals and always approach new dogs with a calm, gentle demeanor. I always make sure to clearly listen to and follow the dog owner’s instructions and preferences when it comes to their pet’s safety and happiness. Although my apartment doesn’t have a backyard, I live on a second floor walk up and near great outdoor spaces and dog parks (West side highway river trail, Washington square park dog park, etc).

A typical day
I live near the West Side Highway so love to walk along the water. I also live relatively close to the dog park at Washington Square park for owners who want their dog to play with others! I also enjoy roaming the streets of west village and the quiet gardens and parks throughout the neighborhood.

Availability
My work schedule is hybrid remote - I’m usually in the office M-W and work from home Th-Fri. When I’m in the office, I am home by 6:30pm ET. When I work from home, I can take multiple breaks throughout the day and a longer break for lunch. I don’t travel on the weekends very frequently and enjoy exploring NYC when I’m home!
