Phoebe was kind and cared for our animals, but there wasn't enough urgency on the cleanliness of our apartment. We had approved of her dog to stay in our place as she told us he was house trained. Unfortunately this wasn't completely true. In the end we came home to our place smelling of pee and poo. Had to throw out our carpets and dog bed. It took weeks to get the smell out. Although she offered to replace our items we felt had these accidents been cleaned promptly it could've been avoided. Also, days after we found rotting flowers in our freezer, several blinds broken and all of my candles had been burnt down. So I have a feeling the smell was apparent while she was here. I think caring for the animals was great. She just needs to prioritize cleaning and taking responsibility if her dog has accidents to clean it right away and not let it sit. We wish her the best of luck and hope she will look at this as a learning experience to do better in the future.
