Ready to care for and spoil the pup

Pet care experience

I grew up with dogs in my home and had a dog myself until recently. Have been dog sitting for friends while I lived in various places on the east coast prior to starting with Rover in California in 2019. Hoping to rescue another dog of my own in the near future, but until then, I will be spoiling your pup with belly rubs. I am a friendly, reliable and trustworthy young-professional, who can't wait to meet your 4-legged best friend. Will care for dogs of any age and size. Don't be shy to message me with any questions, as I want to make sure you are 100% comfortable before handing over the leash.

Phillip and Megan are fantastic, you won’t find any one better to house/pet sit for you, real Pros. They stayed with our great Pyr and cat for 19 days, taking our dog for lots of walks and generally just showering them both lots of with love and belly rubs. Photos and updates every day to assure you how well they are doing, freshly cleaned bed and bath linens towels upon return, clean kitchen, Amazon and Fed Ex deliveries stacked in a neat pile alongside the mail, you couldn’t hope for better. If you are in need of expert care, call Phillip and Megan. We are so pleased to have found them!

This was the second time Philipp stayed at our house while we were away and took great care of our dogs. The dogs were thoroughly spoiled and were well cared for. Philipp was very communicative the entire week we were away, providing updates and sending pics of the dogs daily. He also made an unplanned trip to the vet clinic for us as well. I would recommend Philipp to help care for your pups!

First time clients will be required to participate in a preliminary meet & greet session. This will allow me to meet you and your pet in person. It’s a nice gesture for us humans, but it is essential for most dogs to be able to feel comfortable with a new person watching after them for the first time; your pet’s comfort and safety are my No. 1 priorities! During house sitting meet & greets, please feel free to show me parts of the home you’d want me to be aware of and advise of important routines (gardeners, pool staff etc) that you may want me to continue during your time away from home.

***Please read the following before booking*** If this is the first time I will be watching your dog, I request a meet and greet with you and your 4-legged friend. It has many benefits such as your dog(s) getting to know me before the actual drop off appointment, which will help with keeping your pup comfortable and happy during his/her time away from home. I am comfortable administering medication as needed. If applicable, please provide instructions and I'll be happy to continue the recommended routine. Speaking of routine, please describe the eating/bathroom/sleeping routine so I can ensure to follow this trend. Is your pup potty trained? We understand accidents happen at a young age, but if he/she is not a puppy anymore, we ask for him/her to be fully house broken, as we want him/her to able able to roam the full house without worry. Should any abnormal incidents happen such as excessive accidents and or damage to furniture, a cleaning fee may apply. Since we enjoy going to social places with our dogs, we want to make sure your dog is fully vaccinated and does not have any aggression against other dogs. This is important to keep yours and the other dogs happy and safe. If your dog prefers to be a couch potato, we have no problem doing netflix and chill together on the couch. Either way, we guarantee that your pup will get spoiled with belly rubs, back scratches and compliments throughout the entire stay. Daily photo shoots with your pet is why my phone storage is nearly full; needless to say you will be getting plenty updates with photos while you are separated from you little friend :) If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

A typical day

I generally enjoy being outside, whether it is by the beach, on hikes or simply going for a ride through the mountains. Many breweries and wineries are dog friendly as well, so I bring the friendly companion with me for these adventures if they are comfortable in public. Our community also has its own fenced in dog park where we can play and let some of that energy out.

I work from home full time, which allows me to spend extra quality time with the pets during the weekdays. I’m typically an early riser already, so morning potty breaks require no adjustment to my sleep schedule.
