I am a 35 year old husband and father of two. My eldest has multiple disabilities. Caring for her has put me in a special category of caregivers. She is mobile, but has severe mental deficiencies. She, like me, has an innate love of all animals, and one of our two cats has taken to her like she is its mother. It's incredibly cute. My wife often refers to me as a "druid" because of my close link to animals and nature. I've been known to raise orphaned birds, home baby opossums on cold rainy nights, temporarily care for friends' pets when they are displaced, protect rabbit nests, etc. I want to start earning a living in this area because i want to be home for my kids, and i already have a strong empathy for my furred friends. I do not have a preference for types or sizes or shapes of animals. I grew up with 3 purebred Gordon Setters, a Golden Retriever, a Pug, and a female tabby. As partially stated already, my daughter absolutely loves all animals and i swear she might be a biologist or a vet if she could. My wife and son also love animals and are quite excited for the idea of MORE CUDDLY ANIMALS! We are a very loving family with lots of pet experience. We feel that pets deserve to be a part of the family, and as such, we are very easygoing and affectionate. We believe in prevention rather than punishment, especially when it comes to animals put into new, stressful situations. We look forward to being able to love your precious companions! Thank you.
