Pet care experience
I've always been dedicated to taking care of animals. I've done dog and cat sitting for neighbors growing up. Some cats were seniors that required round-the-clock medication. In recent years I nursed my friends' cat back to health after an emergency, and took care of a roommate's handicapped dog when they were away. For two years I've worked as a veterinary assistant so I have knowledge of cat and dog health needs and behavior. I've recently decided this was my calling so I pet-sit full time!

Philip stayed with my cat for the second time, and it was just as great as the first time! Came home to a happy cat and clean space.
Philip is great. He’s comfortable with our dog and comfortable in the house and it makes our dog (and us!) comfortable too.
I had to cancel but Philip was ready willing and able to house-sit as originally planned.

Does your dog have separation anxiety? Is your dog get easily startled or overstimulated? Does your dog have a habit of inappropriate jumping/barking? Are they easily excited or aggressive towards other dogs and animals? Are they crate trained? Any particular objects that they love but shouldn't have access to for safety reasons?
A typical day
Lots of petting! Games with balls and toys! Long walks around the block or stopping by whatever local park is in your area! After all of that, chilling on the couch.

Availability
I do this full time so please refer to my calender for availability. Because I don't have a car and rely on public transportation, I require clients to be no more than 1 hour outside Philadelphia and be walking distance from a SEPTA bus stop, trolley station, or train station. If you live in New Jersey, please be near a PATCO train station. I only do regular walks/drop-in visits for clients that are walking distance from my home in West Philadelphia. Bookings further distance from that would be all-day or overnight house-sitting.
