Pet care experience
We live in a quite cul-de-sac in Baltimore county, with just under an acre of (unfenced) yard. Although the yard isn't fenced, we do have a large, gated deck, and are quite used to having to escort our guests outside on a leash. We have over 20 years of dog care experience, but don't have our own pet, which means your dog won't be competing for attention. We love dogs but are quite happy not to have the expense and hassle of owning our own! I work mostly from home, but do teach at Stevenson University on a part-time basis. Typically, that means I'll be out for 3-4 hours 3 mornings each week. We can accommodate and have experience with cats and other small animals, too! The pictures you can see show my wife and I, our home in the spring, and some of our doggy guests! Since we're within a couple of minutes' walk from a state park, we can guarantee plenty of fresh air and fun for your furry family member! We are also happy to administer medicines (pills, anti-tic treatments, et al), and take care of any special needs. We very rarely have more than one guest at a time. When that does happen, the animals are either from the same owner, or everyone has met beforehand to confirm that the pups will get along. Please come for a 'check-us-out' visit - with no obligation. We want you to be totally confident that we are the right fit for your family. ******************************************** Please Note: We have recently adjusted our rates. If your pup(s) have stayed with us before, we will keep to the rate previously charged through 2022. This requires a little manual adjustment at our end, so don't worry if the initial price seems higher than expected. We appreciate your trust in letting us care for your four-legged, furry family member(s). Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. ********************************************
Reviews
My dog had a grand time while staying Philip. He and his wife asked all the right questions at the Meet & Greet, and provided useful information for me to help prepare my dog to do well with her stay with them. My dog requires twice daily medication, and I have her on a not-straight-forward diet. They handled everything beautifully.
Pat and Phil were wonderful with Cooper. We felt like he had a real home away from home!
Pat and Phil were amazing hosts and went above and beyond our expectations in caring for our two dogs. They asked about our dog's routine along with other questions to make the multi-day stay at their home as comforting as possible for our dogs. I would highly recommend them and look forward to using them in the future.
We recently went on a ten day cruise and left our mini Goldendoodle Gracie with Phil and Pat. They are wonderful, caring people who made us feel confident that Gracie would be well looked after. And we couldn’t be more grateful for the care and love Gracie received from them. Everyday we received updates which included videos and photos. Gracie had so much fun especially on her daily walks. We will definitely seek out their boarding and daycare services in the future!

Information Philip G. would like to know about your pet
We like to have a (rough) schedule of your dog's usual routine. It's always helpful to know when they are used to getting up and going out, minimizing the chance of any accidents!
A typical day
We always try to replicate whatever routine/rules your pet is used to. We are just 2 minutes walk from the Gunpowder Falls State Park, so your pup(s) are guaranteed daily walks with lots of exciting scents.
