Pet care experience
My name is Philip, and I am an avid animal lover (Philip means “Lover of horses” in Greek). When you book with me, your pet will be loved and cared for by myself and my partner, Janelle, who works from home (and has experience as a vet tech). Between the two of us, we have over 10 years of pet ownership. Plus, my partner’s mother is a vet! We have two dogs of our own that love meeting new friends. Pets run in our families, and we can’t wait to meet yours. We only book with one family at a time. When your pets are with us, they will receive our undivided attention. I happen to be a Registered Nurse with a convenient schedule that allows for a variety of days off. As a pet owner who is often on the go, I have high standards when it comes to dog sitting, and I make it a habit of holding myself to these standards as well. Safety is a huge priority of mine. When outside of the house, dogs will be leashed at all times.

Philip was a phenomenal with our pair of labradoodles! He was in touch with us throughout our entire trip with written and video/photo updates. Philip is truly one of a kind, and we are grateful that we have found him as a dog sitter! Our dog were extremely well cared for and had so much fun playing with his two dogs. I think our dogs will miss them all! I cannot recommend Philip more strongly. He was a wonderful!

I’ve never been unhappy with any of our bookings with Rover but, our dog Otis’ stay with Philip and his 2 friendly giants (relatively speaking) was amazing. Philip was in contact through out the time with pictures and brief anecdotes to help us feel comfortable about being away from our sweet pup. Booking, Drop off and pick up was easy!
Our dog Luna had an amazing stay with Philip! He sent daily updates of her running or playing outside and she seemed so at home at his place. We would happily bring her back and we really appreciate her being in such great care.

A typical day
My house has a fenced yard that allows for plenty of space for dogs to play. I also love going for walks, playing fetch, and doing enrichment activities with dogs (hide and seek, puzzles, etc.).
