Hi there! My name’s Phil, I work at a tech company that demands my time during the week, so I can’t get a dog of my own - Rover helps me get my pup fix while I wait to get a friend of my own! I grew up with dogs ranging in size, and I’m here to make sure your pets gets the attention and love they deserve while you’re away. I’m available most weekends, with dropoff on Friday and pickup on Sunday evening. I live in a 2 bedroom apartment with my girlfriend Annie who also loves dogs. We’re perfectly located between two dog-friendly parks, on a clean and quiet street. Annie and I love walking along the Hudson River and would take your pup with us to make sure they get their steps in! The only request I have is for you to be transparent with me so that I can make sure your pup is as comfortable as possible with me, and so that you can trust that your pup is safe and happy!

Phil was the ideal sitter! He worked with us on some difficult hours and agreed to watch our not fully house trained puppy. We will be returning!
Left my pup with Phil for half day day care and he was super friendly! Welcomed me and my dog into his house and assured us he was going to give her love, treats, and a walk! Texted me with updates and photos of my pup snuggled on the couch with a blanket. Definitely will be contacting him again for more day care/walks! 10/10 recommend.

Our home is large and can accomodate your dog’s favorite bed or crate, we can adhere to your normal feeding schedule so they stay in a rhythm, and we generally treat every dog like they’re our own sweet pup! That means pets & playtime whenever they want, and lots of walk time.

I have no breed preferences, all dogs are good dogs! The only thing I’d ask is for full disclosure from you on anything that I can expect from your pup - behavioral nuances, areas to avoid when petting, dietary restrictions, etc - anything that can help me make sure he/she is as happy as can be while with me!
A typical day
Lots of walks! I typically walk over to the river, along the water, and through SoHo or West Village, or all the way down and through Tribeca.

I’m fully remote for work, so I can give your pup my attention during the work-day between meetings (rare due to my role!) and I have no weekend commitments so your dog is my priority!
