Pet care experience
My family have had dogs since I was born. I have my own dog for the last 5 years and he’s a very happy chap. He does not live me all the time so if you’re dog isn’t keen on others I may still be able to help.

Phil was amazing at making ours and the dogs first Dog-sitting experience a breeze. Our lab Riley was absolutely at ease with it all- testament to Phils excellent care- fully recommend.
Skip is a nervous dog and has not been left on his own much recently. We needed a dog sitter for a night and we choose Phil as he lives in the neighborhood. I picked up Skip the next day and he was calm and not stressed at all. I would definitely use Phil again.
Phil looked after my 1 and a half year old Rottweiler with such care. He looked after him for 1 night and made my dog feel so comfortable and as if he was at home. I would definitely use him again and would highly recommend.
Phil took care of our family dog Pickle. It was the first time we’d gone away for more than a week without Pickle so Phil suggested we he take Pickle out for some walks to build trust and an overnight stay to help him adjust to a different environment. It was incredibly reassuring for us that Phil had clearly put so much thought into how to build trust with Pickle. While we were away Phil kindly shared updates with us so we knew Pickle was happy and having a good time. Our kids loved the updates. We would recommend Phil to anyone who needs their dog looking after. He was thoughtful, responsible and went the extra mile to make sure Pickle was happy and we were happy too.

I have a fenced yard, nearby parks and love dogs. I have trained my dog quite well and love a doggy cuddle. I never leave my dog outside shops or similar or alone at home for more than 4 hours alone.

I have dealt with older dogs and given medication, bathed and dealt with inform dogs for sustained periods without issue. If you’re unsure if I would be capable/comfortable in meeting your dog’s needs then please get in touch and we can discuss it.
A typical day
I will wake up whenever your dog wakes me up but if not then it will typically be around 8-9am. We would, typically, go for a walk within an hour of waking. I have a set route of around an hour’s duration but that could easily be long or shorter dependent upon the dog’s needs. Home for a relax, dinner, some play time, some time in the yard and then back out for walk two. Then it would be tea time, some more play time, then relaxing and another little walk if need be. Any dog would have continual access to my back yard.

Availability
My dog is only with me every other weekend so please do ask about my availability if that would normally be an issue as it possibly won’t be. I work 9-3pm Mon-Fri on a term time basis so outside those times I can provide constant care for any dog. I don’t leave my dog alone for more than 4 hours at a time and never more than once per day.
