I grew up caring for all sorts of animals, from donkeys to dogs and love every animal I meet. I’ve cared for friends and family friends pets for years and always enjoyed my time spent with their furry friends. Now that I’m far from home and living in Santa Barbara I’m hoping this side gig can score me some quality time with dogs or cats.

Peyton took care of my pup Waffle for a week - the first time I'd been away from him since I adopted him, so I was a bit nervous about how he'd hold up while I was gone. She took great care of him and kept me updated on his exploits, and she coordinated with some other local friends to arrange play dates between Waffle and his best buds in my absence. A typical day
I like to get up early in the morning to start my day with a walk around the neighborhood before work, typically around the neighborhood or at the beach! Since I work remote I also take advantage of my flexibility to get some fresh air and sunshine during the day so a hike from cold springs trail head or a visit to Douglas preserve is always great.

My remote work makes my schedule very flexible so I can be available to spend time with pets during the week, and can take frequent breaks for walks and other excursions.
