Pet care experience
Don't want them spoiled on my time, then you've picked the wrong person. I've had the same pets for over 16 years but have had pets all my life (50+ years) and wouldn't want to miss a day of our time together, even though they were little homewreckers at times. For your safety and the safety of your pet, all shots need to be updated regularly (my opinion) and if they have a special diet, I can work with that. I am a former Vet Tech and Groomer and I am offering grooming/bathing/nail trim during stay. It's just Trip (14 year old male cat) and me now and we wouldn't mind sharing our home. We definitely have lots of room and plenty of dog parks nearby. In need of a bit of obedience training? I can work that in as well. I do allow pets on my furniture but will work with your preferences. I also have a flexible schedule, nothing is written in stone. Looking forward to meeting with you and your paws ahead of time, to see if we are a good fit. I work part-time with a flexible schedule but would like to meet in advance and before a booking, to see if we, pets and parents are a good fit. Loving, cuddling, plenty of walks and play time. The more information I can get from you about your pet, the better I can adjust to their needs.

Petra watched our adult dog, puppy, and 3 cats. She did an amazing job! This was our first time using rover for pet sitting and Petra set our worries at ease. She was attentive and caring with our pets. She made sure to give us plenty of updates and pictures of our babies. We will definitely be using her again!
Petra did an outstanding job watching our handsome boy Rex recently. Her kindness, love & care all came together to make for a safe, happy stay for Rex. Petra engaged Rex, exercised him and overall took excellent care of him. We will be repeat customers & I highly recommend Petra to all customers in need of excellent doggie care !
Petra was accommodating with our schedule, AND our cats schedule! She provided daily updates and while our cat was shy and didn't come out often, Petra usually could snap a photo for us- even if it was only a tail. She was very kind, caring and genuinely interested in the well being of our sweet girl; we wouldn't hesitate to call Petra again!

Is your pet up-to-date on all shots? No preference in dogs or cats, love them all. They do need to be able to play well with others. Used to be a groomer and Vet Tech many moons ago but I do remember a few things:) I usually return messages fairly quickly unless it's after 9 p.m. and if damages occur during a stay, i.e. eating shoes or excessive peeing and pooping inside the house, there may be an additional charge. Thanks for understanding.
A typical day
In your neighborhood or mine, dog parks.. Play fetch, frisbee, ball. You name it, we can do it. I have a doggy pool for hot summer days if they like the water.
