Pet care experience
I’ve loved and cared for animals all my life, from growing up with dogs to helping at an emergency rescue centre (and of course adopting some waifs and strays along the way !) to fostering kittens and puppies and rehoming elderly, anxious and sick cats and dogs . My sister is a vet, so medical expertise is a phone call away. Your pet will be like a member of our family for the time we care for them. I don’t have any pets of my own currently.

Our Cavapoo Prince LOVED staying at Petra’s house and we’ll be sure to use her again. She gave us daily updates with photos and we felt safe that he was being looked after so well. Thank you Petra!
Our Seth became part of Petra’s family whilst we were away. He was perfectly cared for and had the best time. We had updates and photos twice a day and we we’re perfectly at ease to enjoy our holiday knowing Seth was in a loving homing having a great holiday just like us!
It's just the perfect family to leave your dog with. She's super kind, patient and experienced. Roo always comes back calm and like he's been really well looked after, had a good routine and lots of love. I highly recommend using Petra for long or short stays.

I have lots of room for pets in my 3 bed terraced home and a good-sized lawned fenced garden. I live a short walk from Oldbury Court Estate which is ideal for dog walks, including lots of space for the energetic and quieter areas for the more nervous of disposition . My children adore animals and will also sensitively lavish your pet with affection and play for those who want it .

A typical day
We love walking in Oldbury Court Estate and can take energetic dogs for a run around and play, or equally a quieter potter round for the nervous or more senior to have a good sniff and explore . My garden has patio, lawn and trees for dogs to explore and stretch their legs or play some fetch / ball with my enthusiastic kids !

Availability
I work part-time during the week remotely from home around dropping off and picking up my children from school so I’m at home to care and keep your pet company and go out walking twice a day .
