Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs since I was a child owning a very energetic border terrier. Through my life I have met many dogs and cats and dog sat for many different small and large dogs. When I dog sat I would feed two times a day (as requested), take the dogs on walks at least twice a day and bathe them when needed. I have a very stubborn and energetic Shiba Inu so I understand the need for exercise and patience when caring for new animals since not all dogs are outgoing and need understanding and time to earn trust.

Total pro! My cats are obviously in love with Peter. They can be stand-offish with new people but he won them over. Definitely recommend and would book him again.
Peter would be a great asset to the Rover team! He is the best pet dad out there to his dog and two cats. He cares so much for his fur babies and would do anything to keep them safe and happy! He also treats my dog like his own. Peter is very responsible and compassionate, and would do a wonderful job caring for anyone’s pets.
Peter would be a great caregiver for any type of creature you have in your family. He is a parent to both cats and dogs, he does a wonderful job taking care of both. Dogs and Cats are like people with various personalities and trust levels of strangers so I always go into every animal interaction with patience and understanding to make sure the animal has time to get comfortable with me so that they are never stressed! Once you earn the animals trust you can then play with it with fetch or play with the cats! Having a rescue dog, I have experience with animals that are wary of new animals, people, and situations so I am always looking to make the animals I am responsible for most comfortable!

A typical day
I love to play with all animals. From playing fetch with the dogs or playing with the fun variety of cat toys or watch them use the box the toy came in more than the toy ? I am always like asking about what activities or routes you like to do with your pets so that I can always ensure a great and familiar experience for the fluffy friends! But I like to go at the dogs pace, so if he likes walk slow and sniff every tree I'm your guy, of he wants to go for a run or play I'm your guy, or if your dog is a combo of both like my dog who is a ball of energy but still wants to pee on every tree/lamppost I know that life!
