Pet care experience
My wife, our pup and I have a grassy, fenced in, landscaped yard (3/4 of an acre) where your furry friend can play with our dog Murphy. He is a very sweet, non-aggressive dog who adores any other dog we bring to the property. I have done long term pet sitting/house sitting in the Waikoloa and Waimea areas for many years for friends and family. Additionally, growing up our family has always had pets ranging from cats and dogs to birds and fish. I understand that every pet and every pet owner have a routine that works well for them. Whether it is particular diets, medication administration, or training commands I will continue that routine to keep your dog safe and comfortable. We look forward to meeting you and your dog!

Our dog is a recent rescue and has anxiety issues especially when we leave. We had to go to Oahu and couldn't leave him alone at our house so we chose Peter from Rover. Murphy, Peter's dog greeted our dog and they hit it off. He stayed 2 nights. Peter and his wife are great! They sent us updates and photos to let us know how our dog was doing. It was obvious from the photos that he was having a great time. I highly recommend this couple if you need a dog sitter.
As someone who has personally hired Peter to watch my beloved dog, I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of animal care! He cared for my 13 year-old dog, who is shy and has many health conditions, while I was on vacation. It is extremely hard for me to trust anyone with watching her, but Peter went above and beyond and reassured me that she was in good hands. He took care of her every need while I was gone, including daily walks, medication administration, and he even hand-fed her when she was being a picky eater. He sent me pictures and videos to reassure me, and I was so relieved to know my dog was loved and tended to whole-heartedly by Peter. He is very intuitive with animals, knowing exactly what they need and when they need it.

I have a fenced in yard (about 3/4 of an acre) with trees and grass where Murphy (my pup) will play with your dog. We also have a covered deck where they can take refuge when it rains or when they just want to take a nap. Your dog and mine will sleep with us in our bedroom and are allowed inside and on the couch, but not on our bed. They get plenty of water fed at 630 am and 5pm and we have tons of toys to play around with.

I like to know any of the commands you use with your dog as well as any dietary restrictions they have or If they are uncomfortable around other dogs.
A typical day
Our property is about a mile to the coast. I love to take our animal guests down to explore the sights and SMELLS of the ocean. Just some good old fashioned tug o war and fetch in the yard will be part of the stay. If you are ok with it I might do some training with treat rewards.
