Peter fostered an older shelter dog. Shelters have a tougher time finding homes for older animals and the number of medical needs correlates to the difficulty in finding a way to get the animal out of the shelter. Peter did a wonderful job of supporting the dog's basic needs. It was also clear after only a short time that a bond had been formed between Peter and the dog. Peter cares about animals and I ...

What Peter would like to know about your dog

It's important for me to know of any medical issues and how best to respond. It's also important to know of anything that might disturb your dog - loud noises, mice, flat-brim hats.

No breed preference. All dogs go to Heaven because all dogs are created equal.

When Peter watches your pet

Denver is a haven for dogs of all ages and personalities. There are numerous places to go and sights to see. My community has a great, well-maintained dog park (new turf was installed recently) for dogs that require tighter quarters or prefer a gradual introduction to new walkers. After getting acquainted at the dog park, we can head a few blocks over to the larger neighborhood dog park and play a game of fetch. For a nice sightseeing cool-down, we can meander through the myriad safe running trails and pedestrian sidewalks that make Denver the 16th most walkable city in the US.
