About Peter and Missy (spouse) It’s nice to meet you! As a fellow pet lover, I have decades of experience taking care of both small and large dogs of all kinds of temperaments. Because my wife, Missy, used to work at an emergency and general veterinarian hospital, she is experienced with medical conditions and can administer medication if needed. We both work from home so your pet will always have someone to hang out with. We also love dog walks and hikes, and enjoy taking our dog to Powell Butte.

Peter and Missy took amazing care of Toby and Keta. We got daily photos, and Toby and Keta have made a new best friend in their dog Gunner, who is adorable. We've already booked them for our two week trip in September.
Peter, Missy, and Gunner were excellent companions for my dog. They were available on short notice and pro-active about meeting. They even suggested meeting at a park late in the evening so that our dogs could meet on neutral ground and avoid the heatwave. A few days before my trip, my dog had a vet appointment. He was a low energy and required lots of medication and soft meals/treats. Peter, Missy, and Gunner took great care of him and Bowser seemed like he'd made good friends when I picked him up. They have a great yard for my medium/small size who likes to smell everything. Peter and Missy were excellent at communicating, often responding within minutes and sending me pictures and updates once a day. I will definitely call on Peter, Missy, and Gunner again!
Peter & Missy were really wonderful and our dog robot came home very happy. He is usually extremely stressed out having been somewhere other than home! He also did wonderfully with the companionship of their dog as well.
I felt very safe leaving our two dogs with them. Would use their services again.

About your pet’s stay We live in a single-level house on a quiet street with a fenced backyard where your pup can play frisbee, hang out while we garden, and watch the birds and squirrels go by. We live close by a park and either go there or to Powell Butte every day for dog walks (rain or shine). Because we both work from home, your pet can have as many bathroom breaks as they want. We have no stairs which is great for dogs with mobility issues. And yes, we don’t mind if your pup likes to hang out on the couch or bed because we have furniture covers and clean often. We look forward to taking care of your pet!

A typical day
It’s a quiet morning enjoying the backyard before breakfast. We take a walk to the corner park at noon and in the evening. If the weather permits, we go to Powell Butte instead for the second walk to enjoy the forest and views of the mountains.

About our dog, Gunner He's a 7 year old terrier mix we've had since he was a puppy. He loves to hang out with dogs his size and can be gentle with little dogs. He is high energy and loves to play fetch. He can do a few circus tricks like spinning in circles, standing, and jumping in the air. He's overall playful, sweet, and loves to cuddle.
