Open schedule & a love for animals!
Pet care experience
I might not have any documented background-related experience to provide for ones own assurance on the level of care I would provide for your pet, I can only provide you with a brief understanding of what these animals mean to me. Since the age of 13, I have had 7 dogs, 1 bunny, and 3 love-birds. Now, I have always been more of a dog-person, but I have cared for all types of animals with the same level I would with dogs. Anyone that knows me, or has had me over at their place (which had pets), would instantly say that I pay attention more to the animals than the humans. Additionally, when it comes to the care, I will always be attentive to making sure that not only are your pets safe, but will be provided the necessary time of play and attention to make it the most comfortable and stress-free time for them. I am an engineer who is self-employed and works from home - or anywhere really (I can take my work with me). My schedule is very flexible and can be altered to match what is needed for your pet, with no stress. My weekly activities can easily be pinned down to 3 types: (1) Project-related work that have no set deadlines or schedules (2) Pet-Care (3) Volunteer work with a few different charities (though covid reduced this quite a bit, but hopefully that is changing soon) I like to be active and always have a lot of energy to burn through, so I like to personally go on a walk, run, or bike-ride almost daily. This helps with my confidence in saying that any-level of activity your pet might require, I am sure I can provide it! All pets at my house are cared for like they are humans, part of the family. I also have taken on dogs from others who just didn't want them or "could not take them to the new state they moved to". I currently only have 1 dog (typically 2), with the passing of my best-friend last Christmas. The one with us still, she is a smaller than normal size Chocolate Lab from Kentucky. Normally, the dogs have free realm of the house, while I keep all doors closed to the bathrooms, closets, or anywhere else they might wander into and grab things they shouldn't (just in case as we train them to not do so). They also sleep on the bed during the night. During the day, if weather permits, I go on 2 walks: one in the morning and one in the evening, and tend to create frequent excuses to stop my work so I can play with Abigail throughout the day. While working in my home-office, Abigail will sleep on the pull-out futon (this turned into a 24/7 accessible bed for her) or under my desk on a laid out blanket. I know this might be a lot of content, but I figured its the best way to try to paint the picture of how animals / dogs are a huge part of my daily life and that I would always show the same-level of care for yours.
Reviews
Pete is a great asset to me and my puppy! He’s so genuinely interested and caring about her and that gives me great comfort when working!
Once again Peter left us with a clean house and happy, tired dogs. I think they were actually a little disappointed to see us walk through the door instead of Pete today! Thanks for taking great care of our babies!
Peter went above and beyond taking care of our dog Kaia. We will definitely be using his services again!
Peter played with our dogs in wet weather and gave them the attention they crave. He was very communicative and we look forward to using him again!

Depending on if Abigail's cousin (Rizzo) comes over, since both his parents work during the day, I would set-up the home office as the primary playroom, which usually entails moving things around for them to play or sleep where they want in the room, while I do any work I might have (though I usually get only about 30 minutes of work in before the evening comes due to my conscious - which is fine with me!). I will normally provide 2 walks (one morning / one afternoon) prior to my girlfriend getting home from work, unless my dog-care schedule doesn't permit it. After she arrives, normally Rizzo will get picked up by his parents (though they only drop him off 1-2x / week) and then Abigail attaches herself to my girlfriend for the remainder of the day, mostly due to her much needed girl time (haha).
Information Peter L. would like to know about your pet
As recommended on here, a greet-and-meet is highly recommended to allow for a small introduction with the pets to help ease any uncomfortable presence they could get with a complete stranger. As for specific information leading up to the visit or for purposes of while I would be sitting, I always say the more instructions the better as to produce less of a chance your pet gets anxiety with their daily routine not being followed. If this question is in case I might need information on your pet for my comfort level, well I would say there are no limitations to the type of pet I would watch or be weary of: seniors, medicated, introvert, extrovert, rough plays, etc, are all welcomed!
A typical day
I try to match the dogs behavior when it comes to activities, with some cases, having to multi-task my style at the same time with 2 dogs wanting to play (one being more light and silly, while the other is aggressive - boy was that a challenge!) If your dog just needs someone to sit with and be petted, well, IÂ am known to giving dogs great and long pets. I personally feel like the dogs who know me, go and tell other dogs, as new pets have come to immediately, with signals for a back scratch, to test it out and then never leave haha. Also, when IÂ say long, I have sat with a big old dog who fell asleep halfway on my lap and I lightly brushed his back for a solid 2 hours. As I write a lot, dogs (any pet really) provide strong positive energy that it makes it hard to think of not giving as much time and energy back to them.

I work from home as an Independent R&D Software/Mechanical Engineer which entails zero deadlines, nor any meet-ups with clients / employer. I like to stay busy, but what I absolutely love is to spend time with my dog(s). I am very energetic and love to be active and/or providing any helpful hand where I can.
