Hello, I am a Board Member and Foster Coordinator for Adopt a Husky Inc, a Siberian husky rescue that operates in Illinois and Wisconsin. I am also the main foster home for the group, and at any given time, i might have 5-6 foster Siberians in my home along with 10 of my personal dogs. I can count on one hand the number of people I trust to care for them when I am out of town, and Peter is one of them. Peter has an instinctive dog sense that makes even nervous foster dogs calm down in his presence. He understands the need for containment at all times with a breed like a Siberian, and makes sure gates are locked and doors are closed around them. He can work with both the shy ones and the completely obnoxious teenagers who have yet to learn manners, and is not upset when a dog jumps on him ( I think these are his favorites, actually). I trust him implicitly with my dogs, both personal and foster, and know he will make a great caregiver for any dog in your program.
