My name is Pete and I live in Denver, CO. In twenty-four years there has never been a period of my life where I did not have a pet dog. Growing up I always had at least two labs in the house and my current best friend is Peach, a ten year old retired sled dog and Iditarod veteran. I recently spent a winter as a mushing guide in Wyoming where I was responsible for the management, care and basic medical needs of twenty four dogs. I spent nearly every waking hour with these dogs, developing a bond with each and every one of them.
