Impeccable Care for Canines & Cats

Pet care experience

⚡⚡⚡⚡PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: ⚡⚡⚡⚡ 🔶🔷 I have full-time day employment at GE in Lynn, MA (3pm-11pm), and take public transit to get there. That being stated, depending on the commute this would have me away from your pet(s) about 10hrs on a workday. This would be reflected in the pricing of those specific days and communicated/cleared with you. Just keep that in mind before sending a request, I want to ensure you are okay with this. Thank you. 🔶🔷 ❗❕I need a meet & greet before committing to taking care of your pet(s), this is non-negotiable, which is also why a two week notice for sits is also non-negotiable. Please also keep this in mind. This is to ensure I feel safe, and your pet feels comfortable as well. Prior to the meeting you will be sent a series of queries and expectations from me that we can review together at the meeting, and please feel free to send or set up your own. In the meeting I will get to know the ins and outs of how you care for your pet and review any other concerns or comments you have. I do make same day/less than a week ahead exceptions for emergencies, but it is not ideal. ❗❕ Vaxxed and boosted! I can mask up when we do a meet and greet as well if you prefer.   I am organized with my business and a clear consistent quick communicator with all of my clients. I love doing long walks with dogs and playtime with cats (who are into that). I take notice of small habits or other behaviors you might mention. I try and be there for your pet as much as you would and appreciate any feedback on achieving that. I am also no strangers to reptiles, rodents, fish, and any other critters you may need care of while you are gone.

My partner and I needed to leave our three skittish cats, our large Pitbull mix dog and lovely disabled tortoise in good hands so we could fully enjoy our time away. Peter informed us of all his expectations from us and the pets in the meet and greet. With that, and a no-nonsense approach to how he runs his business, we knew he would take the sit seriously. He gave us regular updates of all five of the animals, with videos and pictures. He stuck to the routines, disciplines, and habits we set for each individual pet. He also kept the house extremely tidy and clean, and left the place as if he had never been there. He is direct, caring, understanding and thorough in his business approach. Empathy and attention to detail like that are rare nowadays. I would ask him to watch the pets again in a heartbeat and recommend him to anyone who is looking for someone with that special touch. Thank you, Peter!

Peter is not only an incredible dog(s) sitter but just an amazing person. We have 2 difficult rescues and it was easy to see from our meet and greet that Peter would be patient and loving with our pups. He went above and beyond to take the best care of our dogs for 11 days and we came back to a sparkling clean house on top of that! He communicated any issues he had each day as well as the victories. I never worried about the dogs the moment I walked out of the house and until I got back. I knew they were in good hands and they really were. Look no further and book with Peter.

Peter walked & housesat my dog for ~6 months. I genuinely could not have asked for a better caregiver for my dog. He was patient and kind with my very anxious dog, I noticed a positive change in some of her behaviors due to her time with him, and he was always so flexible with my schedule. His communication was superb and he would send me daily updates either during her walks or when I was out of town. I would recommend Peter to any and everyone.

Peter was great with my big energetic dog. He took him on plenty of walks and sent me regular updates and pictures and videos as well which really helped put my mind at ease as a first time Rover user. Would definitely recommend!

I will treat your pet's home with utmost respect. This is their safe space and I want to ensure they will be re-assured, loved and taken care of while you are away. I won't push your pet to interact with me. I know sometimes especially with rescues it takes time to build love and trust. I am very patient and consistent with my love.

Information Peter J. would like to know about your pet

I know every pet is different. I go out of my way to make them feel loved and appreciated. Any special toys, or particular habits I would love to know about. Special treats (even if you spoil! I will spoil them as well!), places they want to sleep or rules they need to uphold, I will oblige. I also want to ensure special attention for special needs dogs. I am experienced in using a harness for larger dogs and carrying older dogs if they can't walk home. I have also administered an array of meds to both cats and dogs. Now, this may be tough to face, but sometimes there are bad habits! It's okay, I have them too. But knowing these things can help me reinforce rules while you are gone or prevent incidents. Also, if your pup gets nervous around other dogs, people, or even machines help me know the best way for them to feel safe on their walks.

A typical day

I like sticking to a routine you have for your pet. I am willing to adapt and comply with waking up at a certain time, going on a certain route for a walk, designated mealtimes, or a designated treat/play time. Even so far as putting on a particular show they may enjoy. If a dog is capable and healthy enough I do at least a 20-30min walk, sometimes longer if that is your usual SOP. I love going to particular spots they may enjoy or can play freely at.

I love playing with any types of animals, and we can discuss their favorites games and toys when we meet/greet. If I do make plans with friends that will be communicated and cleared with you, and it wouldn't be for more than a few hours. 👇👇👇Please see below for a typical day, and above for the re-iteration of my work life schedule. ☝️☝️☝️
