I have known Peter for the past 11.5 years. Peter is the most caring, conscientious, and responsible a dog caregiver you will find. Peter grew up with a well-loved dog that lived a full life to 18 years, and has personally adopted and owned a dog named Oliver for the past 10 years. Oliver is now a healthy, happy, and active senior. I have personally watched Peter lovingly and devotedly attend to Oliver after two knee surgeries, as well as several minor procedures. He is always very attuned to Oliver's needs and wants. He has also trained Oliver to be an obedient and well-behaved dog, who is able to be social and enjoy many activities. Peter has also successfully rescued, rehabilitated, and adopted-out 5 other dogs from the streets, demonstrating patience, compassion, and a love for all dogs, no matter their need. He also has a lot of experience pet sitting for friends' dogs. When he does this, he has always ensured that he followed each family's care instructions to a tee, and kept them updated on how their dogs were doing with texts or emails and pictures. He's made sure to make these dogs feel like they're a part of the pack while they are with him, particularly attending to their emotional needs if they exhibit sadness at being separated from their owner. I can't think of a better or more trustworthy and reliable person to care for your beloved dogs while you are away.
